February is for lovers
I can feel your heart beat like it’s my own.
I can hear your music from a million miles away.
Sometimes I wonder if you’re made from bones and skin,
or are you something for me to begin again, again.
This love, this love
I will build you a mountain, so you can see.
All the way across the universe,
to me…” -Julia StonePhotographed by the man who can do no wrong… John Benavente

Canopy my lover
We are just loving our range of canopies at the moment. Can you imagine saying ‘I do’ framed by the perfect canopy with a soft breeze flowing through the draping? It’s simply perfection. She Designs has a range of different canopies to suit the feel of any wedding, so take a peep here (and all over our Facebook page) and tell us what you think.
Darling Harbour Bridal Expo
Last weekend She Designs headed up to the bridal Expo at the convention centre at Darling Harbour. We were lucky enough to meet some amazing people and some beautiful brides to be. To top the whole thing off we had a killer time on the celebratory cruise for all the expo vendors.
Summerlees Cottage Photoshoot

These photos of our Summerlees Cottage shoot in the beautiful Southern Highlands let you witness the world through the eyes of photographer John Benavente. This is just a portion of his wonderful work, if you would like to see more just click here. Our wonderful Chic models were coloured pretty by the divine Abbey Love and the illuminating dresses are from Ivory and Lace. And of course the breathtaking bouquets were provided by Always Flowers.
Behind the scenes
It was such a pleasure working behind the scenes on this lovely shoot. Being able to collaborate with the inspiring John Benavente is always magical and even my daughters had a go at being photographers. We were pleased as punch to work with Matt Sacco from evoke images who in the natural mise en scene of Sutton Forest really shone. Michelle Fiona was another awe-inspiring photographer who simply gets it right every time. Our models were angels and were convinced by my daughters to babysit them the next weekend!
The final shots will be posted soon as well as a low-down on all our other amazing contributors so stay tuned…
